I ordered proactiv, and they keep charging me every month so I changed my account and told the bank to not let them take any money

everyone who gets scammed from this company needs to file an online report with the Better Business Bureau, they got me a full refund back

I just finished filling out a BBB complaint for the same thing.

How can consumers be jacked like this and ProActiv keeps getting away with it?

The US has over-regulated everything to the point that regulators are too busy to stop these kind of fraudulent activities. In my case, I consider it mail fraud.

I have a bill here that states ProActiv will send my account to collections, hurting my credit. Why thank you.

I only wanted and did in fact receive my original order. I saw new charges on Paypal and put a stop to it there. Paypal was able to credit my account via the "dispute unauthorized transaction" process.

Thank you Paypal. I'm all good now, I received what I ordered, I paid for what I ordered, and no more. The problem now is aggressive billing, and refusing to resolve this on the phone.

I hereby accuse ProActive of:

* Fraud * Not allowing me to review (or know about) a subscription contract * Harassment - Bills for a product I didn't want or order, even after I made it clear on the phone. I did try to resolve it on the phone.

The bills threaten my credit as well, by stating my account is going to collections.

If they actually do that, I will sue ProActiv. * Lying- Claiming I received product that I never received * Mail Fraud - Using the US postal service to fraudulently harass and steal from consumers.

"SOLUTION". Be assured that Proactive "is" the same company as VitaClear out of Iowa.

The overcharging or "bait & switch" tactics for luring customers in and then switching to extra charges, fees and bad collection practices shouldn't be tolerated. I did my research, gathered my facts and charges then submitted them to the BBB. You can do this right on line and also read the MANY similar complaints from MANY other dissatisfied customers and see the remedy given. It took about 10 days to be issued a refund and a promise to cease and desist from any further collection tactics.

I took to BEING PRO ACTIVE instead of using it.

I have no faith in their company any longer......crooks! Go BBB and end your nightmare.
